Who's Who - The Church Leadership Team

The present members of the church leadership team are shown below.

Alec - Pastor

Alec is married to Sibylle.  They worked together in Japan and in Germany.  They have three adult daughters.  Alec enjoys walking up and down mountains, playing the piano and impressionist art

​Our newest Deacon, Tony, is a part time accounts clerk and warehouse  operative. He was born in Wigan and spent most of his life in the south of England before moving to Blackburn in 2010. His hobbies include reading, watching all kinds of sports and board games.

Jane, our church Secretary,  is a retired ESOL teacher. She has two grown-up children and two grandchildren. Her favourite pastime is gardening but she also enjoys sewing and painting.

Philip - Advisor

Philip is an experienced advisor for our church. He is married to Marilyn and lives in Whalley.

Paul is our Church Treasurer, having also served previously as both an Elder and a Deacon. He is recently retired from Furniture Manufacturing. Although initially from Sussex, he has lived in Blackburn for over 50 years and been in membership of the church since 1970.
